Al Ahly’s medical staff led by Mahmoud Khaled confirmed that defender Rami Rabia won’t take part in the upcoming Cairo derby on the 29th of December due to his injury.

Rabia was injured during the team’s morning training session after an intervention with goalkeeper Ahmed Adel. He is suffering from a grain in the ankle lateral ligament. The player will undergo MRI to determine how long he will be away from the pitch.

This means that the player won’t be able to participate in the next Cairo derby in the Egyptian Premier League. The 23-year-old was recently suffering from a knee injury and went through two surgeries.
