Ismaily held to second consecutive draw against Ittihad Alexandria

After going ahead early in the match, Ismaily were held to a draw against Ittihad Alexandria in the 17th round of the Egyptian Premier League. 

Ismaily looked to be in charge of the match and it showed as they went ahead early in the match with Mohamed Aboul-Magd scoring from a great Abd Rabo assist.

Despite chances falling to El Darwish, none were converted and the first half ended with a 1-0 advantage.

Within the first minute of the second half, Hassan Tarek scored the equalizing goal for the Alexandria side.

The match ended 1-1 despite both sides having their fair amount of chances chances.

This result gives Ismaily their 10th draw of the season, leaving them sitting in ninth place with 22 points from 17 games. Ittihad Alexandria are in 11th place with 20 points from 17 games.

Both sides will start the second round of the league after the Africa Cup of Nations 2017.
