Mansour: We’ll ask for 40 million euros for Kahraba after Simeone’s comments
Zamalek president Mortada Mansour assured that the club’s player Mahmoud ‘Kahraba’ who is on loan to Al Ittihad FC will only renew his loan or leave the team for 40 million euros.
This comes after the young player was praised by Atlético Madrid’s coach Diego Simeone for his speed and skill following the friendly match hosted by Ittihad in the Jeddah club’s 90th anniversary celebrations which Atlético Madrid won 3-2. “I was impressed by the performances of some Ittihad players, led by the #10 [Kahraba], due to his impressive speed and skill,” Simeone said.
“After Simeone’s comments praising Kahraba I can’t let him go for less than that amount,” Mansour explained to On Sport TV channel. “He won’t leave Zamalek unless we’re paid 40 million euros, 800 million Egyptian Pounds,” he confirmed.
Mansour said that after the end of this season Kahraba will still have three more years left on his five-year contract.
The 22-year-old player is enjoying a successful quest with the Saudi club scoring 12 goals in 13 matches and two assists so far.
