Al Ittihad FC player Mahmoud Abdel-Moniem ‘Kahraba’ revealed that Atlético Madrid’s Koke asked for his shirt after the end of their friendly match.

Kahraba scored once and assisted his side’s other goal as Al Ittihad lost 2-3 to Atlético Madrid in the former club’s 90th anniversary celebrations.

“I love Koke and after the first half of the game I asked for his shirt and he agreed and sent it to me after the game,” he told DMC TV channel “He sent it with an Egyptian translator who told me that Koke is asking for my shirt. I was thrilled.”

Kahraba also expressed his joy regarding Diego Simeone’s comments on his speed and skill. “I was happy about his comments after the game on my performance,” he added.

“His enthusiasm during the game amazed me, he was shouting to his players all that time, I felt as if it was an official match not a friendly,” Kahraba added.

In addition to being a hardcore football fan, Abdelrahman is a communications enthusiast who works in marketing, advertising, content creation and PR.
