Koka, Kahraba join national team squad, Hegazy completes group training session
Ahmed Hassan ‘Koka’ and Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim ‘Kahraba’ participated in an Egypt national team training session on Monday, after arriving from Braga and Jeddah respectively.
Koka and Kahraba arrived in Egypt to join the national team’s camp ahead of a friendly match against Tunisia on Sunday, in the build-up to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
The duo participated in the team’s training session on Monday, held on the Cairo International Stadium pitch, and were joined by Ahmed Hegazy, who returns from a slight knock that kept him out of the Cairo Derby on Thursday.
Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’, meanwhile, only completed a light session so as to avoid risking fatigue, in the wake of his arrival from Belgian side Royal Excel Mouscron.
Egypt face Tunisia on Sunday, January 8, before they kick off their Africa Cup of Nations campaign on the 17th.
