Salah wins Roma’s Goal of the Year award

After having three of his goals nominated for ’s 2016 goal of the year award, Mohamed Salah’s goal against Palermo was chosen by Roma fans and earned him the award.

The Egyptian’s goal scored against Palermo on February 21st started with a wonderful long pass to Salah, whose heavy touch sent him out wide, just to brilliantly chip the ball from a tight angle at the side line, adding his second goal of the night and securing his team the three points.

The 24-year-old also won AS Roma’s 2016 player of the year award after coming in first place beating Edin Džeko and Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan, in addition to winning Globe Soccer 2016 Best Arab Player award earlier, proving Salah’s successful year with the Giallorossi.

In addition to being a hardcore football fan, Abdelrahman is a communications enthusiast who works in marketing, advertising, content creation and PR.
