Hany Ramzy appointed local national team manager
The Egyptian Football Association announced they have assigned former U-23 national team manager Hany Ramzy as the coach of Egypt’s locals national team.
The locals national team is expected to be formed in the coming period to participate in the upcoming country’s African Nations Championship (CHAN) in 2018.
EFA member Hazem El-Hawary said on Thursday that the domestic federation decided to appoint the former ENPPI manager to lead the team in CHAN 2018 in Kenya.
El-Hawary also said that Ramzy will call up players from the second division league to represent Egypt in the local African tournament.
The 47-year-old manager led Egypt U-23 team in the 2012 Olympics in London, where he managed to reach the round of 16 with his side.
