Egyptian manager Talaat Youssef has been appointed as Al-Ahli Tripoli coach one day after he resigned from his coaching position with Egyptian side Petrojet.

Youssef will be heading to Libya on Thursday to start his new quest with The Green Waves after his resignation was accepted by the club’s administration. His contract states that he will be paid $50,000 monthly.

Two of Petrojet’s technical staff will be joining Youssef in his Libyan mission, namely Mohamed Ibrahim as general manager and Khaled Abdullah as goalkeeping coach.

It is worth mentioning that the 61-year-old led Al-Ahli Tripoli before in 2014 and achieved the team’s 11th league title.

Petrojet assigned Youssef’s position to Alaa Nabeel who will be leaving his position at the Arab Contractors to manage the petroleum club.

In addition to being a hardcore football fan, Abdelrahman is a communications enthusiast who works in marketing, advertising, content creation and PR.
