The player currently is with the Egyptian national team in Gabon preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Both clubs came to agreement over the move on Saturday and what remains now is the signature of Warda on a three-year deal. The announcement is expected to be made on Monday, with the player putting pen-to-paper in Gabon.

Amr Warda joined Panetolikos in the summer of 2015 and sees himself switch clybs after one-and-a-half successful seasons at the club where he was voted second-best player for his club.

The Egyptian was said to be courted by several top clubs in Greece such as Olympiacos as well as sides from Serie A.

Warda’s first match with his new club will be against Schalke 04 in the Europa League round of 16.
