EXCLUSIVE: PAOK sign Egypt’s Amr Warda
Greece Super League club PAOK have sealed the signing of Egypt playmaker Amr Warda from Panetolikos.
Warda, 22, joins PAOK after being courted by the club since last season.
Both clubs came to agreement over the move on Saturday and what remains now is the signature of Warda on a three-year deal. The announcement is expected to be made on Monday, with the player putting pen-to-paper in Gabon.
The Egyptian was said to be courted by several top clubs in Greece such as Olympiacos as well as sides from Serie A.
Warda’s first match with his new club will be against Schalke 04 in the Europa League round of 16.
