OFFICIAL: Hamada Tolba joins ENPPI on free transfer
Petroleum club ENPPI have completed the signing of Egypt international Hamada Tolba following the termination of his contract with Al Masry.
The former Zamalek, Smouha, and Misr El-Maqassa defender has penned a one-and-a-half-year contract that will keep him at the Petroleum club until June 2018.
Tolba has only joined Al Masry last summer after making switch from Zamalek, but has found regular football hard to come by as he only made eight appearances for them in the Egyptian Premier League this season.
The 35-year-old will join up with his new teammates after the Africa Cup of Nations, and he should be available for ENPPI’s next league game against newly promoted Nasr Lel Taa’deen on Feb. 14.
Tolba solves a defensive crisis for Tarek El-Ashry’s men as they have been in a disappointing form this season in the league, and find themselves in 12th place after 17 games.
The defender began his career with Smouha then Misr El-Maqassa before joining Zamalek, who he went on to make over than 80 appearances for them, helping the Whites winning the domestic double in 2015.
