Cuper: Expect more than 11 players participating in AFCON
Egypt head coach Hector Cuper talked about his tactics and strategy that he will implement in the 2017 AFCON especially in the team’s first match against Mali on Tuesday.
Cuper previously said that he will be able to stop Mali’s players as they have special players who possess speed and height.
“With no doubt, Mali’s match will be a tough one just like all matches in the tournament,” he said. “Right now we’re only thinking about our strategy and we have a good one that will fit this match.”
“We will play a match every three days, expect more than 11 players in AFCON,” The Argentinian coach pointed out indicating that names in Egypt’s line-up will be changed constantly. “My plan is to choose players who will fit in my strategy and will be able to win matches regardless of their age or expertise.”
Egypt’s first AFCON encounter will be against Mali on Tuesday, afterwards, the team will face Uganda on Saturday and Ghana on Wednesday, January 25.
