Thievy Bifouma joins Turkey’s Osmanlispor

Congolese forward Thievy Bifouma joined Turkish club Osmanlispor from French SC Bastia.

The French-born striker passed all needed medical examinations and signed a three-year and six-month contract with the Süper Lig side joining his Congolese teammate Delarge Dzon.

In six months, the 24-year-old scored two goals in 14 matches with the Ligue 1 club. He enjoyed a spell with Espanyol in 2011 till 2016 and then moved to Las Palmas, West Bromwich Albion, Almeria, Granada and Remis.

Bifouma was joint top-scorer with three goals at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations as Congo reached the quarter-finals, losing 4-2 to neighbours DR Congo.

In addition to being a hardcore football fan, Abdelrahman is a communications enthusiast who works in marketing, advertising, content creation and PR.
