HANDBALL: Egypt beat Argentina to record third World Championship win

Egypt have claimed a 31-26 victory over Argentina in the Handball World Championship currently held in France to go second in Group D behind Denmark.

Egypt’s next encounter will be a staggering one and will fall against Sweden, third of the group, this coming Friday and the Swedish team will be the last opponent for the Egyptians in the group stage, the match is expected to be a battle ground for second place of Group D .

Marwan Ragab’s men made it three wins out four with this win, previously winning against last World Championship finalists Qatar and Bahrain earlier this week.

The match once again saw outstanding performances from Goalkeeper Karim Hendawy, Mohamed Sanad and Yehia El Derea.

Argentina now lie at the bottom of Group D with no points from 4 games, while Egypt climb up to second temporarily awaiting Sweden’s result.
