Senegalese referee Malang Diédhiou has been appointed for the Group D second round match between Egypt and Uganda.
CAF announced that 43-year-old Diédhiou has been appointed to officiate the Egypt vs Uganda match set to be held in Port Gentil as part of the Group D second round matches.
The Senegalese referee was nominated for CAF Referee of the Year in 2016 alongside eventual winner Bakary Gassama and Egyptian referee Gihad Greisha.
Egypt are looking to earn the three points after their lackluster performance against Mali that saw them earn a point while the Uganda Cranes are looking for their first point after their loss against Ghana.
The match is set to be held tomorrow Saturday at 9 pm in Stade de Port Gentil while Ghana are set to face Mali in the other Group D match at 6 pm.
