KingFut rounds up group stage matches of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, taking place in Gabon.

Ivory Coast vs DR Congo

After drawing with Togo in the opening match, Ivory Coast’s troubles continued as they struggled to draw 2-2 with DR Congo. The defending champions found themselves behind after 10 minutes as DR Congo’s Neeskens Kebano scored with a low curling effort, before Wilfried Bony levelled the score with a fine header in the 25th minute. Junior Kabananga restored DR Congo’s lead three minutes later but a shot by Serey Die in the 67th minute was deflected in the net as the teams shared the spoils.

Morocco vs Togo

Morocco, who lost to DR Congo in the first round, fought back from one goal down to claim a 3-1 victory over Togo. The Atlas Lions conceded an early goal as Mathieu Dossevi opened the scoring after five minutes. However, Aziz Bouhaddouz headed a corner to level the score in the 14th minute, before Romain Saiss completed the comeback seven minutes later. Substitute Youssef En-Nesyri secured the points for Morocco with a low strike in the 72nd minute.

Morocco now sit second on three points, one behind leaders DR Congo and one ahead of Ivory Coast. Togo sit at the bottom of Group C with one point. Morocco will face Ivory Coast in their final group match on Tuesday, while Togo will play against DR Congo.
