Egypt to warm up in changing rooms ahead of Uganda clash
The Egyptian national team will warm up prior to the Uganda match in the changing rooms to keep the pitch in a good shape.
The CAF announced on Thursday that the AFCON teams will conduct their pre-match warm-ups in their changing rooms to keep the pitches in a good shape before the matches’ kick-offs.
“To warm up in the changing room prior to a football match in 2017 is very weird,’’ Héctor Cúper said in his press conference ahead of the game.
“However, we will get used to the circumstances and respect the decision,’’ he concluded.
Egypt are currently joint second with Mali, and will face fourth placed Uganda, on Saturday Jan. 21 at 21:00 CLT.
