Official: Egypt’s Ahmed Sayed ‘Zizo’ joins Nacional on loan from Lierse
Lierse S.K. midfielder Ahmed Sayed ‘Zizo’ has joined CD Nacional on loan until the end of the season, the Portuguese club announced.
The deal includes an option for the Portuguese side to buy the Egyptian midfielder after the end of the loan spell, Belgian side Lierse said in a statement on their official website.
Zizo, 21, will play alongside his fellow countryman Aly Ghazal, who has been with the Portuguese club since 2013. He follows in the footsteps of Egypt’s Saleh Gomaa, Ali Fathi and Mahmoud Ezzat who had loan stints at the Primeira Liga side.
Nacional are currently battling against relegation as they sit 17th in the league table on 12 points, two ahead of bottom-placed Tondela.
