“Sissoko is 27 years old and will be a great addition to our defence line,” said the club’s president Mahmoud Mashaly to MENA news agency.
“He was one of the best defenders in the Tunisia league with Étoile Sportive de Métlaoui.”
Ittihad of Alexandria are strengthening their side, as they are looking forward to a new challenge ahead of the restart of the Egyptian Premier League after the 2017 African Cup of Nations.
Sissoko played before in France with Nantes from 2009 till 2011, then moved to Saudi Arabia where he played for Al-Fateh for four seasons and won the league title with the club for the first time in their history.
