Kahraba: Gaber told me I would score against Morocco
Egypt international Mahmoud Kahraba has revealed that his teammate Omar Gaber has predicted him scoring against Morocco on Sunday.
The Pharaohs have defeated Morocco 1-0 thanks to Kahraba’s late winner to reach the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals, where they face Burkina Faso on February 1.
The 22-year-old started the game on bench before replacing RC Lens’ Karim Hafez in the 63rd minute and scoring the game’s only goal.
“While sitting on the substitutes bench, I always feel that I am going to have an impact on the game,” Kahraba said after the Morocco match.
“Before the game, Omar Gaber looked to the sky and told me I would score against Morocco today,” he added.
