Koka joins Egypt’s injury list, set to miss Burkina Faso clash
Egypt national team medical staff have announced that SC Braga striker Ahmed Hassan Koka is set to miss the team’s semifinal encounter in Africa Cup of Nations against Burkina Faso due to injury.
Koka joins a long list of injuries for the Pharaohs during the competition, having already lost the services of goalkeeper Ahmed El-Shennawy, Mohamed Abdel-Shafy and Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny for different muscular injuries, while also missing Al Ahly striker Marwan Mohsen who got hit by an anterior cruciate ligament rupture that will force him out for a lengthy period.

The 23-year-old striker is suffering from pelvis inflammation that will force him out of Egypt’s semifinal tie against the Stallions.
Egypt are set to meet Burkina Faso on Wednesday evening, with the second AFCON semifinal clash between Ghana and Cameroon set to be played on Thursday.
