Cuper: I am usually not lucky in finals but I’m optimistic about this one

Egypt national team manager Hector Cuper assured that he feels positive for the 2017 African Cup of Nations final match which will be against either Ghana or Cameroon on February 5th.

The record seven-time African champions will play the final on Sunday after beating Burkina Faso 4-3 on penalties thanks to Essam El-Hadary’s saves.

“I’m overjoyed for winning this tough game. We lost the match physically and Burkina Faso dominated the game,” The Argentinian coach said after the match.

“Most often I am not lucky when it comes to final matches, but I feel optimistic for the coming final with Egypt,” he added.

Cuper concluded by speaking about his match decisions assuring that he has no regrets. “Any choice I make is based on research and studying. I do not regret any decisions made.”
