Former Zamalek player Ahmed El-Merghany joins Jordan’s Bani Hasan
Former Zamalek midfielder Ahmed el-Merghany has completed his move to Jordan Premier League side Mansheyat Bani Hasan on a six-month deal.
The 28-year-old midfielder had his contract terminated by his former club Wadi Degla in July 2015 after posting critical comments on his Facebook page about Egypt’s president Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi.
He joined third-tier side Goldi in October 2015, after failing to join any of the Egyptian Premier League teams.
Beni Hassan currently occupy the fourth place in the Jordan Premier League table on 20 points, five away from league leaders Al-Jazeera.
