Stoke City manager Mark Hughes wishes Ramadan Sobhi and Egypt good luck ahead of Sunday’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations final against Cameroon.

Ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations final on Sunday, Stoke City manager Mark Hughes shared some encouraging words for his 20-year-old starlet Ramadan Sobhi and the Egyptian national team.

Ramadan, who joined Stoke City in the summer from Al Ahly, is set to become the club’s first-ever representative at an Africa Cup of Nations final on Sunday when the Pharaohs take on Cameroon in Gabon.

“This is Mark Hughes from Stoke City, I’d like to wish Ramadan and Egypt all the very best in the final on Sunday,” the Welsh manager said in a video via Stoke City’s Arabic social media channels.

“I wish you good luck and hopefully you’ll have a good result and Ramadan plays well.”

Stoke dropped to eleventh place in the Premier League following Saturday’s 1-0 loss to West Brom, and Sobhi is expected to rejoin the squad prior to the match with Crystal Palace on 11 February.
