Mortada: Shikabala’s relationship with Zamalek has ended
Zamalek chairman Mortada Mansour has revealed that Shikabala’s relationship with Zamalek has ended, adding that he has sent him a warrant.
Shikabala hasn’t been called up by Mohamed Helmy for the Egyptian Super Cup squad after missing the trainings during the past 30 days, according to Mortada Masnour.
“I am not like Mamdouh Abbas. We have a training system you should follow especially when you get paid during this time,” Mortada Masnour said.
“I sent Shikabala a warrant, and the fans shouldn’t attack Mohamed Helmy for not selecting him for the Super Cup game.
“Shikabala’s relationship with Zamalek has ended after what he did. I think the player doesn’t want to help himself so we aren’t going to help him,” the 64-year-old added.
Zamalek are set to face their arch-rivals Al Ahly in the Egyptian Super Cup on Friday, February 10 at Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
