Wadi Degla sign Ghanaian midfielder David Ofei

Wadi Degla officials announced the signing of Ghanian midfielder David Ofei on a free transfer deal three days before the January transfer window closed.

Three years ago Ofei played for Smouha coming from Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko. The player was signed as Wadi Degla aim to support the squad after the trio Ragab Nabil, Karim Mamdouh and Boubacar Diara left the club.

Ex-Zamalek player and manager Ahmed Hossam ‘Mido’ is currently leading the club after the departure of Patrice Carteron along with former Al Ahly midfielder Mohamed Shawky who recently joined the coaching staff.

Wadi Degla is currently in 10th place in the Egyptian Premier League with 21 points.

In addition to being a hardcore football fan, Abdelrahman is a communications enthusiast who works in marketing, advertising, content creation and PR.
