Sharkia appoint Emad El-Nahas as manager
Egyptian Premier League side Sharkia announced that former Aswan SC coach Emad El-Nahas was officially assigned to lead the team.
The former Al Ahly defender will replace coach Mounir Okila who left the team in protest of the transfer deals Sharkia made in January, along with the elimination from Egypt Cup round of 16 by Tala’a El-Gaish on Tuesday.
El-Nahas, who led EPL side Aswan SC to promotion and then surviving their first season back, resigned from his post after a run of poor results in the league. His last match with Aswan was against his new team Sharkia which he lost 3-2.
Sharkia is hoping that Al Ahly veteran will save the team from relegation as they sit currently at the bottom of the table with only 8 points.
