’s recent signing is on the brink of leaving the club following an altercation which has delayed his registration.

Chama, 25, is set to depart after the club have accused him of deliberately informing the Zambian Football Federation to delay sending his Transfer matching system card to the Egyptian Football Association.

Sources close to the player have confirmed the situation to KingFut and now what remains is Chama paying back a sum of 25,000 USD which he has received upon signing of the contract.

With the TMS not arriving on time before the Winter transfer window closed almost 10 days ago, Chama can no longer be registered by the EFA.

However, when KingFut reached out to the player, he said: “I seriously don’t know where that is coming from.”

The former Zesco United player, affirmed to have seen reports in the media, but he has not tried to flee the country as some are claiming.

“I really don’t know. Some one sent me this [the news about his escape] with the translation that I have ran away,” Chama exclaimed.

Meanwhile, the player’s agent refused to speak about the matter in the middle of an ongoing process.

“I can’t speak now. We are in a process. After it’s done, I will speak. I need to protect my boy,” Mukandila told KingFut.

Chama arrived as a free agent last December–agreeing a move to Ittihad of Alexandria after his contract with ZESCO United ran out.
