Elneny: We have three goals to achieve this season
Egypt’s and Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny spoke after the Hull City game, saying that the Gunners eying all the three titles this season.
The 24-year-old made his first appearance for the Gunners since his departure for the Africa Cup of Nations, which Egypt lost to Cameroon in the final, but he is now only focusing on his journey with Arsenal in England.
Elneny featured as a 69-minute substitute in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Hull City at the Emirates, to jump temporarily to third place and put pressure on Tottenham and Manchester City who are facing Liverpool and Bournemouth respectively.
“We have three goals to achieve this season. We want to win the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the Champions League as well, of course,” Elneny said to beIN Sports after the Hull City game.
“We work on winning all of our next games to obtain all the trophies, and we don’t focus on any talks outside the pitch.
“I am really happy to be back at Arsenal. I was hoping I would return with the AFCON title, but I am now starting a new phase in England,” Elneny added.
Arsenal’s next game will be against German side Bayern Munich in the Champions League at Allianz Arena on Wednesday, February 15.
