Hamed, Gabr and Shikabala excluded from Zamalek squad against Entag
Zamalek manager Mohamed Helmy has revealed the 21-man squad that will face Entag El-Harby in the 18th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Following their victory over Al Ahly in Abu Dhabi in the Super Cup, Zamalek are aiming to return back to winning ways in the league and make up for their first league loss against Al Ahly.
Egyptian Internationals Ali Gabr and Tarek Hamed have been excluded as Helmy decided to give them some rest after the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and the Super Cup.
Shikabala, Ali Fathi, and Emmanuel Mayuka will miss Wednesday’s game due to technical reasons, as well as Bassem Morsi because of suspension.
Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy, Mahmoud Abdel-Rahim ‘Gennesh’, Mahmoud Abdel-Monsef.
Defenders: Osama Ibrahim, Hosny Fathi, Mahmoud Hamdy, Islam Gamal, Shawky El-Said and Ahmed Abo El-Fotouh.
Midfielders: Ibrahim Salah, Ahmed Tawfik, Moruf Yusuf, Mahmoud Dunga, Ahmed Refaat, Mostafa Fathi, Mohamed Ibrahim, Salah Rico, Ayman Hefny.
Forwards: Ahmed Gaafar, Hossam Paulo, Stanley Ohawuchi.
