Dzeko speaks about partnership with Mohamed Salah

AS Roma striker, has acknowledged the role played by in his great form this season.

Edin Dzeko has scored 18 goals in the this season. Four of them have been assisted by Mohamed Salah.

The two were involved in yet another goal, when AS Roma won the first leg of their Europa League round of 32 tie. Salah had only come on as a sub in that match.

It has become a common feature of Roma’s play for Salah to do his magic on the right wing. Before setting up the Bosnian striker for a goal or, at the very least, a chance at goal.

Dzeko was in praise of another “Momo” assist. “Momo laid on another great assist for me today, so I thank him for that.

“He’s very important for us and we’re delighted to have him back.”

The form of the two sees Roma hold on to second place, in Serie A, ahead of Napoli. Salah has recorded the highest number of assists in the Roma team, this season.

The Egyptian is not all about assisting though. He is has scored eight goals in the league, for his club. Only Edin Dzeko has scored more.

I have dedicated part of my time in this bad world to following African football. From CECAFA to WAFU, COSAFA to UNAF & even the forgotten UNIFFAC.
