Tunisia are set to face Cameroon as one of two warm-up games for Egypt encounter in the 2019 AFCON qualifiers, the Tunisian FA has confirmed.

The Eagles of Carthage were drawn in group J alongside Egypt, Niger, and Swaziland, with the group winner and the three best runners-up of the 12 groups qualify for the final tournament in Cameroon.

Tunisia will face two of African football’s most powerful nations, Cameroon on March 24, and Morocco on March 28 to prepare for the AFCON qualifiers, which starts with them hosting Egypt on June 13.

Both teams qualified to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, but the Eagles were knocked out from Burkina Faso in the quarter-finals, while Egypt reached the final and lost to Cameroon 2-1.

It’s worth mentioning that Egypt faced Tunisia in a friendly game last January in a warm-up game for 2017 AFCON, and resulted in 1-0 win to the Pharaohs, thanks to Marwan Mohsen’s late winner.

Kingfut it is also worth mentioning that Tunisia beat Egypt home and away in the 2015 afcon qualifiers. My predictions is that we won’t qualify to the Afcon 2019, but we may still have a chance to qualify to the world cup

If we keep playing defensively as we did at the Afcon 2017, we can beat Tunisia even twice. The players are more experienced and more confident now.
