Mohamed Salah scores in Roma’s 4-1 win against Torino
Egypt international Mohamed Salah scored in his side’s 4-1 victory over Torino at Stadio Olimpico in the 25th round of Italian Serie A.
The Egyptian started his first game since his departure for the AFCON, and marked his return with a goal after just 17 minutes to seal a big win for Roma.
Inform striker Edin Džeko scored the opening goal for Roma after just 10 minutes, before Mohamed Salah doubled his side’s lead seven minutes later.
In the 64th minute Leandro Paredes scored a superb long range shot to make it 3-0 for the hosts, but former Milan and Barcelona pulled one back for Torino in the 84th minute.
Just before the final whistle, Belgium international Radja Nainggolan scored his side’s fourth goal after a brilliant play between Salah and Totti ended with him scoring his ninth goal of the season.
After this result, Roma are currently second in the league with 56 points, seven points behind leaders Juventus and two above third-placed Napoli, and their next game will be against Villarreal at Stadio Olimpico on Thursday, February 23.
