Zamalek manager Mohamed Helmy has announced the 19-man squad that will play against Tala’a El-Gaish in the 19th round of the Egyptian Premier League.

The club’s star Shikabala was excluded from the squad for the fourth consecutive time as the technical staff think he is not ready for the match. This is the same reason Mohamed Mosaad, Ali Fathy and Emmanuel Mayuka were also excluded. Salah Rico and Hosni Fathy were also excluded but for technical reasons.

On the other side, national team players Ali Gabr and Tarek Hamed are back to the squad after a short rest earned as they returned from the 2017 African Cup of Nations in Gabon.

Zamalek Squad:

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy, Mahmoud Abdel-Rahim ‘Gennesh’

Defenders: Osama Ibrahim, Mahmoud Hamdy, Islam Gamal, Shawky El-Said, Ali Gabr

Midfielders: Ibrahim Salah, Ahmed Tawfik, Moruf Yusuf, Mahmoud Dunga, Mostafa Fathi, Mohamed Ibrahim, Tarek Hamed, Ayman Hefny.

Forwards: Ahmed Gaafar, Hossam Paulo, Stanley Ohawuchi, Bassem Morsi.
