Al-Ahli Tripoli qualified to the 2017  round of 32 after beating Ghanian Wa AllStars 5-1 on aggregate.

Talaat Youssef, who was appointed as the team’s coach earlier this year,  led his team to win the match 2-0 in the second leg in the round of 64 of the tournament. Al-Ahli also won the first leg match 1-3 which made the score 5-1 on aggregate.

The Leader will get ready to face Moroccan side Fath Union Sport in the next round as the club qualified after eliminating the newly-founded FC Johansen from Sierra Leone.

Youssef’s side will host Fath Union Sport in Libya for the first leg match on March 10 while the second leg match will be played in Morocco on March 17.
