Egypt’s Ahmed Hassan ‘Koka’ excluded from squad as Benfica defeats Braga one nil in the 22nd fixture of the Portuguese Primeira Liga.

Egypt’s international striker Ahmed Hassan ‘Koka’ continues to be excluded from Braga’s squad since returning from Gabon, after sustaining an injury whilst participating with the Egyptian National team in AFCON 2017.

The first half lacked energy and action as both teams tried to secure their areas and build-up play.

However, the second half was different as Benfica managed to clinch the full 3 points late in the game, as Konstantinos Mitroglou successfully converted the ball in the back of Marafona’s net in the 80th minute.

Following the loss, Braga currently occupies the fourth league spot with 38 points from 22 matches and is set to face Vitoria de Setubal on Feb. 26.

Mohammed Salama is a 21-year-old who fell in love with football since Egypt's AFCON final match against Ivory Coast! Strangely enough an Al Ahly and Al Masry fan locally. In addition, he's a hardcore Bayern Munich supporter.
