Warda voted Man of The Match in PAOK’s win over Veria
Egypt’s Amr Warda has been voted as PAOK’s best player as he made his first start for them in their big 4-0 victory over Veria FC in the 21st round of the Greek League.
Warda completed his move to PAOK in the January transfer market after spending a one and a half year with their Greek counterparts Panetolikos. Furthermore, the 23-year-old international was recently inserted in the team’s Europa League squad list and featured in their 3-0 defeat against Schalke in the round of 32.
In the poll to choose the best player in the game against Veria, Warda has obtained 42% of the votes after delivering two assists in the game, according to PAOK’s official website.
The former Al Ahly youth product was a prominent member of the Egyptian team that made to the final of the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, where the Pharaohs fell short against Cameroon in the final.
