Egypt international and Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny will be out of action for a period of three to four weeks after suffering a recent injury.

Elneny was subbed off after playing 45 minutes in his team’s FA Cup 2-0 win against Sutton United. A scan on his ankle confirmed that the young Pharaoh is suffering from a ligament tear in his ankle and will not be able to join the Gunners’ training sessions for at least three weeks.

This means that he will miss Arsenal’s two important upcoming games against Liverpool in the English Premier League and Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.
