Mamdouh Hashem: PAUC is like my family
Mohamed Mamdouh Hashem, Pays d’Aix and Egypt’s National Handball team Pivot, spoke about how he passed his first 6 months since he joined the French team.
“I feel the same as in Egypt. I have great colleagues here since I’ve joined the team 6 months ago” Hashem said.
Zamalek’s former player said he didn’t feel any negative feelings during his stay since his arrival, adding that PAUC feels like a family for him.
“The team is like a family, we do everything together, and we go out together. Everything is okay for me”
Mamdouh Hashem stated that the worst part is losing, adding that he is accustom winning every match he plays whether with Egypt’s national team or with his former club El Zamalek.
“I’m used that my club win the trophy, losing isn’t in my vocabulary. Now when I lose a match, I return home and cannot sleep for days.” Hashem clarified
When he was asked about qualifying to French cup quarterfinal round and the keys to winning over Billère, he said that they will need a very good start like they did in the previous matches, adding to this that his team is fully fit after Ali Zein is back from his injury.
Mamdouh Hashem hopes that his team can at least reach the French Cup semifinal.
Since he was transferred to PAUC last summer, Mamdouh Hashem scored 46 goals this season with almost 74% successful turnovers.
PAUC handball was qualified to French Cup quarter final after defeating Billère 32-31.
