Mohamed Elneny starts recovering from his injury
Egypt international and Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny has started the process of recovering from his injury that he sustained last week.
The 24-year-old has released a video showing himself taking part in an intense rope workout as he bids to recover from the ankle injury he sustained against Sutton United last week.
The Egyptian will be out for three weeks which means that he will miss Arsenal’s two upcoming games against Liverpool in the Premier League and Bayern Munich in the Champions League, but he is doing all he can to recover as quickly as possible.

Arsène Wenger will hope for a quick return from Elneny as the Gunners have only three midfielders available, Granit Xhaka, Francis Coquelin, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who excelled in the central midfield position recently.
Mohamed Elneny has made 21 appearances this season with the Gunners, assisting twice against Bulgaria’s Ludogorets and Hull City.
