Le Havre’s Taher Mohamed back with the French club after participating in two games with the U-20 pharaohs against Mali and Guinea.

The 19-year-old player, who moved to Ligue 2 side Le Havre AC from Arab Contractors, has left the national team after playing the first two games with the U-20s in their african quest.

After being seeded in pot 3, the pharaohs are aiming to secure a spot in the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup held in South Korea.

The agreement was already clear between the club and the national team’s board that the player will only play two games in order to avoid physical exhaustion.

In the games Taher participated in, the pharaohs drew 0-0 with Mali and 1-1 with Guinea. Both results now leave Egypt in 2nd place with two points from a possible six.

The National Team is set to face Zambia’s U-20 next, on Saturday March 4th.
