Ahmed Hassan ‘Koka’ returns as Braga defeats Arouca 3-1
Egypt’s Ahmed Hassan ‘Koka’ came on as a substitute in the 63rd minute as Braga defeated Arouca 3-1 in the 24th fixture of the Portuguese Primeira Liga.
Ahmed Hassan ‘Koka’ played his first game since returning from Gabon, after recovering from an injury he picked up whilst participating in AFCON 2017 with the Egyptian National Team.
Egypt’s International started on the bench. Braga managed to open the scoring just 12 minutes into the game, as Rui Fonte accurately slotted the ball past Sinan Bolat.
Arouca scored a quick equaliser just five minutes later, as Mateus managed to hit the back of Braga’s net.
Both teams failed to score further goals until the referee blew the half-time whistle.
Koka came on to replace Artur Jorge in the 63rd minute. Just six minutes later, Fonte managed to double his tally as he sent the ball home making it two nil for the home side.
Rodrigo battaglia managed to extend Braga’s lead as he placed the ball in the back of Bolat’s net in the 73rd minute.
Following the win, Braga currently occupies the fourth league spot with 42 points from 24 matches.
