Egyptian international Amr Warda played the entire match as PAOK beat league leaders and holders Olympiacos 2-0.

During the beginning of the first half, Olympiacos forced PAOK to mostly defend. However, as the half went on, the match became more open and Warda was involved in many chances going forward.

The first half did end up finishing 0-0.

The second half started quickly with Shakhov scoring PAOK’s first goal.

Only seven minutes later, Prijovic scored PAOK’s second goal from Henrique’s assist.

The rest of the match saw more chances fall to both sides but neither side taking advantage of them. Perhaps the closest chance of them all was a 20 yard strike from Warda, but he was not able to get on the score sheet as his shot hit the bar.

The game ended 2-0 for PAOK.

The result moves PAOK into third place with 43 points from 23 games. Their next game is on Saturday March 12 against AEK Athens in the Super League.
