Ghaly: I’m glad that I will end my career in Al Ahly
Al Ahly legend and captain Hossam Ghaly expressed his happiness after extending his contract for one more season with the Red Devils.
Ghaly will end his football career with the Club of the Century which was, according to the player, a dream he has been planning for a long time ago.
Both team legends Emad Meteb and Hossam Ghaly recently renewed their contracts for one season as announced by the club.
“I am equally happy for Emad Meteb, I hope both of us can help the team win more local and continental trophies,” he said. “I would like to thank all those who supported me in the last period and before my contract extension. I want to thank them especially for asking me to continue playing for Al Ahly till the end and thankfully that’s what happened.”
Ghaly is a product of Al Ahly’s youth sector and made his debut in February 2000 against El Shams Club. Besides Al Ahly, he played for Feyenoord, Tottenham Hotspur, Derby County, Al-Nassr and Lierse S.K.
