Egypt international Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim Kahraba scored the winner as Ittihad defeated Al Nassr 1-0 in the Crown Prince Cup final.

This marks Kahraba’s first piece of silverware with Ittihad since joining the Saudi side on loan from Zamalek last summer.

Although Al Nassr were the better side at the early stages of the game, Kahraba managed to give his side an early lead. After an initial Carlos Villanueva shot was saved by Al Nassr goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Enezi, the Egypt international gathered the rebound and scored in the 16th minute.

Al Nassr kept pushing for an equaliser and were close to making it 1-1 on several occasions but they were either denied by the woodwork or by Ittihad keeper.

Ittihad almost made it 2-0 in the final 10 minutes of the game but their shots lacked accuracy, as the game ended in a 1-0 victory for Ittihad.

This marks Ittihad’s first title of the season, and their eighth Crown Prince Cup in history.
