Kahraba hopes to continue playing for Ittihad
Egypt international and Ittihad Jeddah second striker Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim Kahraba spoke about his hopes to stay with the Saudi Premier League club.
Kahraba recently earned his first piece of silverware with Ittihad since joining the Saudi side on loan from Zamalek last summer as Ittihad won their eighth Crown Prince Cup after defeating Al Nassr in the final.
The 22-year-old player scored the match’s only goal helping his team win their first title of the season.
“I wish to continue playing for Ittihad, who wouldn’t want to play for this club,” he told renowned Saudi TV program ‘Action Ya Dawry’. “I love Ittihad and its fans and they love me too.”
Kahraba also talked about rumors circulating accusing him of causing troubles recently saying: “I don’t cause any problems. The club’s president supports us and so does everyone else. If there were any troubles we wouldn’t have won a cup recently.”
He also thanked Zamalek and their fans assuring that he owes his success to the Whites.
