Zamalek’s head coach, Mohamed Helmy, expresses his delight after his team’s 4-1 win against Enugu Rangers in the first leg of the first round of the CAF Champions League.

The White Knights’ comfortable win puts Zamalek closer to the second round and closer to the Champions League group stage after a turbulent season domestically.

Helmy expressed his delight after the game stating, “Thanks to the players, they showed great quality and massive responsibility against Rangers.”

On qualifying to the second round, he said, “We should not forget that we have a second match against Rangers, we have not qualified yet. The second leg requires more concentration to guarantee the qualification to the next round.”

Zamalek is set to face Enugu Rangers in Nigeria next Sunday in the second leg of the first round of the Champions League.
