Egyptian SAC dissolve EFA board of directors
The Supreme Administrative Court has decided to dissolve the Egyptian Football Association’s board of directors after accepting a lawsuit regarding the invalidity of the elections.
Dr. Magda El Helbawi, Omar Hareedi, and Magda Mahmoud have filed a lawsuit, regarding the legitimacy of the election of Hazem and Sahar El-Hawary.
After accepting their lawsuit, the Administrative Court issued a ruling that requires the dissolution of the EFA as well as appointing Tharwat Sweilam as the interim president until the next elections.
The Court’s order will be presented to the minister of State for Youth and Sports Khaled Abdel Aziz, with him having seven days to execute the court’s order.
