Egypt’s Reem Moussa helped her team KP Brno win the Central Europe Women’s League after beating Piestanske Cajky 65-53.

The Czech Republic side lost the first quarter 15-22 but decreased the deficit in the second quarter with the score at halftime being 32-37.

A resurgence in the third quarter put KP Brno ahead 53-44 and a strong fourth quarter allowed them to win with a +12 point difference.

This marks the first time that KP Brno have won the league, with the most successful team being ICIM Arad of Romania with three titles.

Moussa, 23, holds dual Egyptian-American nationality and had played for Egyptian side Al Ahly last season.

In addition to being a football/soccer and basketball enthusiast, I am currently pursuing a combined BS/MD degree at VCU. I also currently work as a Pharmacy Technician in my spare time.
