Zamalek winger Mahmoud Kahraba who’s on loan to Ittihad Jeddah has talked about the Saudi club’s interest in Zamalek duo Tarek Hamed and Ali Gabr.

In an interview with ONsports, Zamalek loanee Mahmoud Kahraba has talked about Ittihad’s interest in several of Zamalek’s players.

“The club [Ittihad] are interested in several Zamalek players and would like to sign them; these include Ali Gabr and Tarek Hamed as everyone’s a fan of their abilities.

He then proceeded saying: “Board member Abdallah Sharaf is especially a fan and revealed to me that he would like to sign the duo to Ittihad Jeddah.

“Those two alongside Mostafa Fathi would win all the championships if they played for Ittihad Jeddah.”

The 22-year-old joined Ittihad last summer and has revealed his wish to stay with the Saudi club after winning the club’s eighth Crown Prince Cup by defeating Al Nassr in the final.

Zamalek chairman has previously set Kahraba’s value at €40 million, before announcing that his price has been jacked up to €100 million, after scoring the winner in the Crown Prince Cup final.

It’s worth noting that whether Ittihad’s interest is real or not in signing the Zamalek duo is yet to be announced officially by the club.
