Al Ahly manager Hossam El-Badry has revealed that he will not depend on his first-leg win, when he face Bidvest Wits on Sunday in Johannesburg.

The South African side are going to host the Reds this Sunday in a crucial second-leg, and a draw will be enough for the Egyptians to reach the group-stages.

“Our opponents are very organized and they have quality forwards, but their manager chose not to exploit those tactics in Cairo and saved them for the return-leg,” El-Badry told Al Ahly’s official website.

“We have a few injuries that will affect us, but over the past few days we worked on getting Hamoudi and Momen Zakaria fit to help us fill the void of the missing players,” he added.

The Red Devils will be without Hossam Ghaly and Ajayi’s services due to a hamstring injury, while Wits will miss their captain Hlatshwayo, who is suspended for an accumulation of yellow cards.

El-Badry concluded by saying that he believes that Al Ahly are going to return from Johannesburg with a result that helps them qualify for the group-stages.
